ITEC Plans Second Park in Norway


Rich cultural contributions from the 200 year Viking history make for an exciting new theme
park planned along the west coast of Norway. ITEC spent much of 2014 working with Vikingland Utvikling AS to complete a schematic design for Vikingland, ITEC’s second park in Norway. Vikingland is planned to be both educational and entertaining by recreating experiences that relive days of trade, raids and conquest and influenced culture for generations to come.

Harry Potter Times Three

Working with Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Universal Studios Japan,
ITEC Entertainment had an opportunity to deliver three exciting Wizarding World of Harry Potter-themed projects. ITEC developed the show control system for Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts at Universal Studios Florida along with audio and visual effects for Hogwarts Express Hogsmeade station at Universal's Islands of Adventure. ITEC’s global footprint continued to expand with ITEC providing show controls for Universal Studios Japan’s Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride which opened in July 2014 in Osaka, Japan.

ITEC ENTERTAINMENT CORPORATION RECOGNIZED BY FLORIDA GOVERNOR FOR ‘FLORIDA EXCEPTIONALISM’

ITEC Entertainment Corporation was recognized by Florida Governor Rick Scott during the Governor’s State of the State address today.

Outlining his priorities for the coming session, Governor Scott noted “We have to ask ourselves who has the next big dream for Florida? Who are the inventors? Who are the builders? Who are the trailblazers?”



Among other Florida business pioneers, Governor Scott recognized ITEC President and CEO, Bill Coan, as an example of “Florida Exceptionalism.”

“Some of the people whose dreams are changing the world are here today,” said Governor Scott during his address to both chambers of the Legislature today. Governor Scott lauded those individuals for having dreamed big and for helping to make the state great. Bill Coan was recognized for ITEC’s work designing theme parks and attractions all around the world.

“All of us at ITEC are extremely grateful and honored to receive this recognition by Governor Scott,” said Bill Coan. “Our plan is to continue to push the frontiers of entertainment and attraction design and production to new heights and to make ongoing contributions to the industry and economy.”
